The Honda engine is very quiet, offering nearly twice the fuel economy of the 2-cycle engines, and it eliminates the need to mix gas and oil. Proline’s HP100 pump is manufactured with the same quality and features found on our larger pumps, such as the “flusher port,” which supplies water pressure to run a flusher nozzle for cleaning crevices. The Proline was the first 2″ gold dredge with this feature. Due to recent changes in the pump and jetting system on this dredge, the suction power has dramatically increased. This increase in power led to a new classifier with a riffle system that produces a more effective low pressure vortex behind the riffles themselves, improving fine gold recovery. Proline’s unique one-piece classifier/riffle system simply unlatches and lifts out of the sluice box, which makes for fast and easy cleanups. We still use “Nomad” matting for the entire length of the sluice box.

The pontoons are actually used as part of the frame, eliminating the need for a heavier conventional frame. A rod is supplied for clearing rock jams that occur at the power jet, and actually stays on the dredge when not in use. Through these improvements we were able to shed a few pounds, while making the gold dredge stronger. It’s powered by our HP100 pump, which is direct coupled to a Honda GXH50 engine, offering astounding performance in a package that is lighter and quieter than previous models. There are some obvious advantages that come with using this engine: the famous Honda quality, low oil shut off, and the ease of no longer having to worry about those gas and oil mixtures. In addition, the HP100 is the perfect size and operates at the proper RPM to develop peak water volume and pressure required for optimum performance.

The unit is equipped with a large hopper, containing two spraybars, each with two rows of holes to ensure complete washing of dry and/or clay-bound gravel. Threaded caps allow for easy removal of any debris that passes through the pump, and the grizzly is easily removed to simplify cleanups. Fine gold recovery has been improved due to refinements in riffle profile and timing. Our extensive use of Nomad matting and triple classification makes for an unbeatable combination.

The sluice box is bolted to our sturdy stand for additional strength and the legs are easily adjusted for uneven terrain. This combo falls halfway in size between the 2″ and 3″ models and has incorporated some features from both of them. For example, the stand and legs are longer, but made out of the same size material as the 2″ combo for weight savings. The polyethylene plastic hopper has been reinforced just like the 3″ unit, and the riffles have a stiffening rod on them to ensure a longer life and the sluice box is made of the same thickness of aluminum as the 3″combo making for a very strong unit.

Powered by a Honda GX120 engine and our HP200 pump, this is by far the most powerful 2.5″ combo available anywhere. The HP200 was developed for high volume as well as the working pressure necessary for successful high-banking. This pump was also one of the first of its size which was engineered to be capable of driving an air compressor while still maintaining ample suction power.

Before its arrival most 3″ gold dredges were essentially the same size as their 4″counterparts because they used the same pontoons, frame, pump, etc. This gold dredge was designed to be smaller and lighter than our 4″ gold dredge, without sacrificing strength or stability. It sits on its own frame with pontoons that were matched to its size and weight. Another unique feature of this gold dredge is the pump. To this day, the HP300 is the only pump on the market designed specifically for 3″ gold dredges. There is no reason to pay for a big, heavy pump, when the idea is to keep the size and weight down in the first place.

This is the smallest dredge that Proline offers with our well known “sure-flow” hose coupler system. This tried and true design essentially eliminates all surface rock jams, while making it far easier to attach the dredge hose to the power jet.

The two triple row spray bars ensure that all of the gravel, clay, roots, etc. are thoroughly washed and separated before running through the recovery system. The grizzly is designed to be strong yet surprisingly lightweight. Like all of our other grizzly’s, it is removable to allow for easy access to the classifier and black “V” ribbed matting for inspection and/or cleanup. Also, if the combo is going to be operated solely as a gold dredge, the grizzly can be removed to save weight.

This is a higher pressure pump designed specifically for pushing water higher and further, making it ideal for high-banking.
